Our beautiful baby boy has arrived! Rocklin Jay Birkmeyer was born on Saturday, January 12 in the late afternoon. He weighed 5 lbs. 3 ozs. and was 19 inches. I ended up having a C-Section due to some concerns, but everything went well. We just got home on Thursday from the hospital and it is SO nice to be home! Our home is so different already with the presence our our cute little guy! We are very blessed to have a healthy, happy baby! Here are some long awaited pictures:

Going home from the hospital! Daddy bought him the cutest going home outfit. We weren't expecting a preemie, so Adam had to go out and get some teeny tiny clothes so he wouldn't drown in the newborn sized clothes!

He is SO stinkin' cute! It is just killing me that I can't see him in person and hold him! I'm getting the baby yayas! Argh! The look of being a daddy suits Adam B very well! So cute seeing a dad and his boy! Kristen, I can't wait to see you in person being a mommy!! This is just too much fun!

I was just looking back and reading your labor and birth story. I'm glad it had a happy ending with a healthy mom and baby. He was so cute and tiny! Chess was literally twice his size! :)
